Boca vs. Argentinos Juniors Match Results in Numerous Detentions

The Ministry of Security of the City reported that one person was arrested, over fifty 'parking lot attendants' were detained, and the right of admission was denied to 43 supporters. The City Police issued, as reported by the Argentine News Agency (NA), 303 contravention reports, of which 175 were for individuals attempting to enter the stadium without a ticket. Among the most significant actions, the detention of a 31-year-old man was notified, against whom there was an arrest warrant for robbery by scaling. Other contraventions responded to incitement to disorder, use of pyrotechnics, and improper use of public space. Finally, personnel from the General Directorate of Inspection and Control of the City Government drew up 18 seizure reports for irregular street vending and the sale of alcoholic beverages in the vicinity of the stadium, with the seizure of 104 items. In total, more than 300 interventions were carried out in an operation that also had the support of Traffic and Prevention Agents, as part of the plan to reinforce security at mass events. Additionally, during the prior searches before entry, a person was processed for drug possession after a jar of marijuana was found on them. The match between Boca and Argentinos Juniors at La Bombonera left a significant security balance. The investigation was in the hands of the Southern Flagrancy Unit, led by prosecutor Jonathan Patti. The operation paid special attention to access control and the third security ring, where 64 car parkers were detained for charging for parking on public roads. In turn, agents applied the right of admission to 43 fans who were on the list of the Safe Stand program, preventing them from entering the stadium. The case fell to the Oral Court in Criminal and Correctional No. 1, under the charge of Judge Cintia Báez.
